Churches are being affected by the economy just as much as all of the households around you. For many, this is compounded by who they are ministering to and the lack of consistant giving. There are many churches that are doing great works and have active game plans in our cities, however, they are on the verge of closing their doors. The cost of overhead is overwhelming ministries and handcuffing their outreach. When lights, heat, and other operating expenses stand between Jesus and the lost, we need to help take up the slack no matter what the denomination.
